| bump Bump...I know we have members with ideas...I find a "barfer" does best in a covered carrier..but some who are not used to them get more anxious. How about a med from the vet..? |

| My Bailey used to get sick everytime she went in the car. And she went to work with me everyday! I asked the vet and he said to just keep letting her ride. Eventually she would get used to it. And she did. I don't know how old yours is. If she is young, you have better odds of her growing out of it. I would suggest that you drive her everyday between now & the trip. Whether its to the bank, get gas, or around the block. She'll get used to it over time. Just bring some towels. Good luck.

| Try http://www.americasnutrition.com/haptravpetca.html we had to use this on Bridget for about the first year and then she outgrew her car sickness. At the time we also kept her in a cage and covered while on the trips. The only thing we ever found to work was this stuff. Good Luck!

| I have read in other threads here that having them in a car seat where they can see out the window is very helpful, as well as letting the a/c run in their faces. here is the thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...light=car+sick
