| Scrathing head and chewing legs... Could this be an allergy??? I've never had a dog with allergies before so I'm pretty new at this. She doesn't really scrath the rest of her body except for every once on a while; certainly not as much as her head. I use frontline on her and haven't really seen any fleas as of late...which of course isn't a guarantee....Any suggestions??? |

| What kind of food is she eating? Some are allergic to corn, wheat, soy, poultry, etc. It could be as simple as her diet

| Hmmm.... That seems like a very good food, though it is poultry based. My girls can't eat poultry, it makes them so itchy I wonder if you call the vet if they can tell you what to try. I hate to think of you possibly upsetting her tummy with a food change for no good reason, though my instincts say it is probably the food. Poor kiddo!

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Most of us discover itching is a food allergy...when we eliminate foods with chicken and grains....and voila the itching stops. I feed mine Taste of the wild - bison/venison formula. Totally grain free...

| So what's the deal with grain free?? I read that it's got too much protein, and dogs don't need that much, and that it's not good for them... |
