NO you misunderstood me.. If that is what she wanted to pay for them that was up to her.. Im saying the breeder knew better.. everyone wants something different i am no different.. I was just saying that the breeder knew that was just to much for something that was not a yorkie standard.. It has been noted that some of these babies will be deaf and health problems down the road and of course some genitics problem dont arrive until they are like 4 months and older... Im not saying that the public it self is bad im saying how dare the breeders charging thiis price ... for them.. and charging that price for a poor breed puppy . Im for the people not the breeders i am a breeder and i just saying the truth and the breeders that are selling these babies this high price knows it is just a defect... And before any one gets upset..im not saying your sweet little puppy is going to die or is not cute but just a defect... :) |
I also have Blue and Tan 13 Year old male been fixed for years and a Blue and Tan Fm.My litter is Blue and Tan.I always said if there was ever a white Yorkie I would want one. When I typed it in on my computer it came up.Parti Yorkie my Husband and I fell in Love.So as a gift he bought me the 2 fm's and a male on the way.I'm home with my dogs and my Daughter every day and we Love them as if they were are children. So defect or not I LOVE MY PARTI PUPS.I think they may be the first Parti's in Florida. They are AKC reg. so they must be ok with the AKC guide lines somewhere or they wouldn't register them right. |
I dont know there is no where on the akc reg for parti she proably has them under one of the others ..Im glad you love your babies and they are cute... and if you want them fine.. you should of checked into the Biewers yorkie.. good luck and enjoy your babies.. this was not about the breed it was about the cost... |
the color code is not on the AKC but she had it on there and I sent in 3 pics of the dag an now I have an AKC slip for her said Parti color code is 014 |
I am in Canada, In Ontario. I have annabella yet.. she was born may 19th. the only surviver of a litter of 4. I spent hours with those baby's and so much money. You see small breeders that do not give shots themselves, and dock tails and remove dew claws pay vet bills..with that said.. my cost of each of annabella's shots was 75.00 here in ontario, time that by three parvo and then a rabies. my vet does not do the last parvo and the rabies at the same time. I am also discovered that saying akc registered can mean a lot or very little.. for I have seen year ago puppy find that some yorkies did not look like yorkies and yet it said akc registered.. I do not go there now.. I found YT so when I need to just look at yorkies I come to the fourm..but I would like to get enough to cover a good bit of my vet bills.. for as a small breeder that does not have a large kennel, does not have a lot of pups in a year.. annabella got our full attention, unlike times when I have gotten over the years for example a 7 month old that did not know what grass was.. there are so many many things to look at when buying a yorkie. health for a pet is to me far more important then papers.. In Canda I got a yorkie years ago, from a show breeder, got the female spayed as I was to, was told the dog had all her shots. she got parvo anyway, and even tho I had her spayed.. I have never seen her papers.. so with that said.. I think I am more honest then that. I also feel I have much more integrity.. anne |

Thanks Brodi Mom! |
You're right it's your money to spend. Example: If I were selling a brand new stove for $200 and someone else was selling the exact same stove for $2000 why would anyone rather pay the $2000. It doesn't make sense I don't care how much money you have! |

If you don't take care of your dog you can make a $2000 dog look like a $200 dog. Same goes around you can make a $200 dog look like a million bucks if you take proper care of it. But you know, to each his own, love whatcha got, just like if you had paid a million for it!:) |
There are alot of determining factors on the price. Location, pedigree, health quarantee or not, and size are some |

So basically I didn't look for a $300-or $500 yorkie, I was looking for a greater breeder. And that is what I found with Dana. |
Gerry...the vast majority of these responses are from pet owners....not breeders. The show breeders rarely post in the general forum...because general pet ownership nor selling puppies is not their main concern. You could, however, post your theories in the breeding or show forum... |

Thanks for that post..I do not have a parti.. I think they are adorable. same as the biewers.. it takes time for new breeds to be accepted as I am sure it did the yorkie how many years ago.. I just think that we as people are all different.. does not make a person wrong for having or breeding.. If they are breeding from good healthy dogs that to me is the most importmant factor... If we all did the same, felt the same, were the same. it would make for a boring world we live in.. anne |
You get what you pay for in this life.I paid a lot I got a lot.My Parti's are Super.Glad we got them. The price was worth every puppy kiss I get each day.Give some love get some back in life.We Love Yorkies no mater what color they are.So on that I think we all agree. |
I don't know about you, but when someone sees my cute little yorkie they tell me how cute she is. I've never had anyone come up and say, oh what is her background. Some people pay a big price just so they can brag about it.:D |
Ok Im done with your/this conversation. You think I wait for someone to ask me about her background? You act like because more money may have been spent, someone automatically thinks their dog is better. No one is saying that but you! I will say no more on this subject because it is starting to become irritating BTW, my 2400 baby passed away this last June. BYE! |
That is not true i do show and do breed and once in a while i will look over these chats and come across one that i have to reply to.. I do breed and i can tell you that i can sell a 400 dollar puppy with the same pedigree and good healthly back ground just the same as some one selling for thousands of dollars . i do have there genitic and hips eyes and micro chip done.. and a complete background check before ever breeding... it does not coast alot to do that just a few hundered dollars... which means the main topic on this page is Greed... This is all i have to say.. you can have a champion and pay all that money and you know what.. when you are done showing this dog still eats sleep licks itself and sometime roll in mud.. because you know why he is a dog... this will be the last post i post on this subject.. the bottom line is... if god his self came down and gave you a puppy it should not cost the most 1200 dollars...... THanks |
You go Gilr.High five form Florida Yorkie lover. This is not a bragg about money we all just love Yorkies. Back ground who cares as long as you love your pet. Peace Out ! This is not a Geico add we didn't pay to much.LOL... |

I'm sure you just won over the heart's of many members here. |
You go Brodi Mom! I don't think anyone could sum up this topic any better than you just did.... Have a blessed day!:) |
What business is it of anyone how much someone spends on their dog and their reasons. I spent $600 more for my second yorkie than I did my first simply because I wanted her and that was her price and I never brag about her price |

You all have a Great Yorkie kind of day ! Have to run my Daughter out to the Doctor she is having sugery on Monday for her Spinal Bifida. And yes I will sneek her Yorkie up to see her in the Hospital.Say a Little Prayer for my Brandi shes 13 this will be her 5 th sugery.Thank you all Have a Blessed Day. |
I don't think anyone buys a yorkie for a "big price" just so they could brag about it?!?! I personally would not buy a yorkie for under $1,000 because I wouldn't trust the quality of the dog but also when I was looking for a dog I wouldn't buy one from certain places like the Inland Empire (in CA) or OK, MO, AR. This is personal preference. I'm sure there are breeders in these areas that are great breeders but it's all personal preference when you are looking for a dog. People buy dogs from different people or places or different prices, etc. for different reasons. |
My prayers and thoughts will be there for you . May god bless.. Good Luck:):D |
