| Some Advice Plz? I was looking on dogsandpuppies.co.uk when I came across a little female yorkie 12 weeks old looking to be adopted. The location it mention an area in Northern Ireland and the reason for adoption was because the mans wife and son died in a motor accident and therefore she was at home all day when he was at work. So I decided to email him to see if she was still available and she is. But I have now got a little suspicious about the whole thing as now he is actually based in Scotland and is wanting to delivery the puppy to me which costs £200!!! I don't know if I did the right thing but I am just not too sure the delivery method of this 12 weeks Yorkie would be good for her, overseas delivery. So I sent an email to the owner saying no thank you as I disapprove of the delivery method and his ad said he was based in Northern Ireland and I would have picked her up myself. I just don't know if this was real or a scam. I know that female yorkie pups in Northern Ireland go like hot cakes and you would pay around £450 for them so I don't know how no one were he lives has taken her for free!!! He was looking for my full name, address, telephone number, mobile number and ZIP code!!! Now the thing is here that were do not use the term "ZIP" code in the UK but Postcode. I just find is suspicious. Do you think I was right to turn it down?

| I think you were right to turn it down. That would make me very suspicious too! If something doesn't feel quite right, it probably isn't!

| I have actually found his ad twice more, both with different locations and one has a different email address (the name in it is female). The pictures of the pup is hard to tell if she is the same pup though.

| I just got another email to tell me that delivering the puppy overseas does not mean the puppy will die!!!!! Ah, I know that but will stress her, and that the delivery agency works with airlines etc etc. Well, I will ignore the emails from now on. If you cared about you puppy but needed to rehome it would you do that? I know he says he is deseperate to get her a home with TLC etc but wouldn't you make sure they were not stressed in the process. Anyway, Yorkies are very popular dogs over here, especially the females which are KC, vaccinated etc and would go for alot of money so I can't see why he can not easily sell her in Scotland. Oh, thats right, maybe she doesn't exist! Thanks everyone, I feel alot better knowing I did the right thing.
