| Our vet allows drinking- the reason why they dont want your pup to eat , is because they enduce vomitting. Good LUck!!!!! |

| They should not have either. The anesthesia can make your pup nauseous and if there is something in the system for them to throw up, they could aspirate it into their lungs. Ellie's vet does no food after 9, no water after midnight.

| It's been a while but I seem to remember that Hot Rod could not have food or water after a certain hour. Good luck with your little one. He'll be fine. Just give him lots of lovin's after.

| Duke could not have food after 9PM and no water after 10PM. Because he is small we were told to give him chicken with chicken broth by 9PM.
