| I agree - number 2. Where do you get a portrait made? One of my dad's poodles died last year, and I'd love to get her and her brothers pics made into a portrait, although the quality of the pics aren't great, I'd like an opinion, but didn't know who to contact?? Thanks in advance for the help... |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I love picture one, I love tongue shots, and I think it shows loads of personality; you can't see the body hair too much, just the face hair, and it doesn't look so long that he's lost the puppy look. If pleasing your daughter on this is the goal, I would definitely get her input, because sometimes we think we may know what someone would like, based on one thing, but we end up all wrong.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Okay, this is TOTALLY a tough call bc they're each so different!! #1: this one is a "moment" picture, a candid - "I caught you" pic, which captures something unique #2: this one is him perfectly posed and just very handsome and adorable, he's having a very good fur day here. His expression is kind of "take the picture MOM" #3: LOVE his eyes here - he looks totally engaged, like he's about to pounce right at the camera at any moment - so I see some naughty, wide-eyed playfulness in his expression here, which is just shining in his little face in this picture; I almost feel like he has his eyebrows raised here like "You want some OF ME?" in this pic; I think he really comes through here So then, clear as mud? Yeah, totally can't decide here. I think if you want candid, go w/ #1. Otherwise, if you want classic - go w #2, but see if she can capture that look in his eyes from #3. I clearly spend too much time with my camera, does it show?

| Spinning off from Wylie's Mom's comment, if it were me, and I was doing a portrait I personally would go for the classic look. And she's right #2 definitely has that going on. I vote #2.

Have y'all seen Meerkat Manor? That is Spike to a tee! He's totally a little meerkat. He sort of looks like one and he moves around just like one. Not the best breed representation by a mile but he is the funniest little thing I've ever seen and he worships my daughter.

Okay, it's crystal clear now. Before I started going through all of the pictures I was planning on using number 3 because it really captures that goofy little look he has but I think I'll end up going with 2. Myabe I should break out the camera and really confuse myself!

| Look how different he looks with more hair. I think he's cuter but it was so hard to keep up that cotton coat. My daughter brushed him like he was made of eggshells and left me to discover the mats. She likes him better short and it's a lot easier on me so short it is. In the third one he is on the left and my messy little Sugar is on the right. I don't know what I was thinking taking pictures of him when he was so messy. A mother's love is blind I guess.

| Well, now you've gone and done it! A second batch of pics! I'd be going with Pic #2 in the first batch, and Pic #1 in the second batch. Spike sure is a cutie |
