Good for you. I was thinking about her today. If she still gives you fits, why not just do a few a day?

Thank you. I have already noticed a change in her behavior today.
She seems to be listening to me more, and more attached than usual. I'm not sure if it's because she feels better with those nails cut down, or if she understands now, that I'm the alpha!?

Maybe she's afraid you'll sit on her again!! LOL.

It does get easier...once they realize you ARE going to trim their nails...regardless of how much they fight...they concede

Yorkies have a thing about their feet - I don't know why, but they're freakin drama queens about their feet and especially their nails.

I used to wrap my 2 in a towel like a mummy - holding one foot out ..do that foot - take a little break - then next foot -now I pretty much can sit and talk to them while I clip... but it took 6 years to get to this point

Try to keep those nails as short as you can - one day you may not be there if she gets caught ...and the other reason is the 'quick' will be longer if the nails aren't trimmed on a regular basis - AND - it can hurt them when walking I would think too

You did good ....if you really have problems - some vets only charge 5-10 bucks for nail trimming and many will do it if you ask for free on routine visits etc.
