No Longer a Member | Birthday Party for your furbutt. Does anyone give their little furbutts a birthday party and if you do what do you serve? Do you invite people or dogs or what and do you serve cake and ice cream? Chloe will be a year old in a couple of months. |

| Meeko will be 1 next month. I'll get him a pupcake and a little cupcake or tiny cake for my bf and I and we'll sing to him. His b-day is on a Saturday, so we'll probably take him to the park.

| Please see my post here: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...ggestions.html I'm too lazy to type it all again. A short answer is yes! I did it for my late bullmastiff and will keep the tradition alive with Rory (just celebrated her 1st birthday in August). I always enjoy myself and so does my furbutt and guests, which is all that really matters no matter what you decide to do!

| I will be having a birthday party for Kramer he will be 1 on Oct. 7. I plan on making him a doggy birthday cake and inviting all my friends who have dogs that he has associated with. I hoping it will be a fun day for him. After all he is part of the family. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | I didn't have a party for my puppy. I did however give him all his favorite things that day. So he had his favorite food and favorite puppy ice cream. We did buy him a new toy as well as took him out to the park. We spoil him pretty much so I am not sure if he noticed the fuss.. However, it sounds like it would be fun thing to do. I would definately invite those who have a dog your pups size. If you know other dog owners who have larger dogs just use caution. Good luck and have fun.

| Tink had a party for her first B-Day. I served a special carrot cake for doggies and some doggie ice cream and then the people version for the people who came. It was just me, my daughter, and the neighbor and for furkids we had Tink, Maya (a Morkie) and Alice (a Chi). This year, I didn't have a party for her. I won't have one every year. Maybe not again until she's 5 and starts school. |

| http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...arty-pics.html Here is a link to Sam's - I made his cake. I am planning on having one this year as well. I need to call daycare to make sure they are available. Instead of presents we ask that the guests bring items for Operation Kindness.
