				   | Yoyo is going in to get spayed on Oct. 1st and her vet said it costs 150.00 which includes all the meds and cathader(sp?) and he doesn't charge for teeth getting pulled. I was wondering if thats a good price or is it way too much?? |

				   | That is a great price. Do they use Isoflurane or Sevoflurane anesthesia, do surgery on a heated suface, place an IV in all patients and do pre-op blood work?

I'm not too sure. He mentioned a catheter though. I'll have to ask if they do pre-op blood work. I don't know much about spaying. He just told me that he'll give me some pain meds for her after the surgery. | |

				   | That is a great price! Most places around me charge $300-$400. My friend who lives in a town 2 hours away paid $400 to get her cat spayed and declawed

				   | I am will heading this direction soon myself for little Maggie. I read about this on YT...Friends of Animals | Spay/Neuter Certificates Instructions It offers a certificate for spaying and neutering. The only thing though, you have to use a vet who participates. They will send you the list in your area. I need to talk with my vet and find out what the costs are and if they will do anything with this program. I've not looked into any of it yet.

				   | That is a very good deal, especially if you like/trust your vet! Rory cost over $400 (Atlanta), which seemed a bit much, but you do what you have to do!

				   | That's awesome! The only place that's less than that is the SPCA, but you have to be at a certain income. Pam |
