| Soooo disapointed... Well, as some of you will have noticed recently I was due to get my baby girl this Sunday, and I was quite literally counting down the hour til she was here with me! I wasn't sleeping I was so excited about her, I've been on such a high! lol Well last night I got in touch with the breeder to ask how my girl was and she told me that she thinks the pups need a bit more time with their Mother. To be completely honest I did feel that 8 weeks a bit young to be leaving their Mother and siblings, so now it's going to be more like 10 I think. It's right, I know it is, but oh I am sooo disappointed! I guess trhe up side is now I know she is a very good breeder and highly conscientious which makes me respect her. ARGH!!! How am I going to be able to wait a further 2 weeks?! Jess |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | As hard as it is it will be better and worth the wait of two more weeks. Start the count down again....

| AAAWWW so sorry but I'm glad the breeder stepped up and acknowledged that she needed to stay with her momma a few more weeks. Time flies and before you know it she will be home with you! |

| Sounds like you found a wonderful breeder. I know the wait is hard, but it'll be well worth it

| Waiting is soooooooooo hard. I know it is. It will give you more time, though, to find more things for her.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Hello, I understand how you are feeling. I had the same experience as you. I was told the same story when I got my baby. Just try to keep your head up and 2 weeks will be here before you know it. Sounds like you have a good breeder. She should know the best. You have more time to shop for her!!

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I'm sorry you have to wait a little bit longer, that says a lot of the breeder, Think about it this way, that gives you enough time to keep buying stuff for that little girl, I'm sure she can use more toys and dresses and bows

| Aww...I understand completely. I was supposed to have Suri at the beginning of the year but her momma didn't take. I had to wait until just a few weeks ago when we picked her up. Just think now you have time to catch up on sleep, because when your baby comes you won't want to go to sleep.

| I know that feeling, and it SUCKS! I had to wait an extra MONTH for Dora. She was just so tiny, that the breeder wanted to be POSITIVE she would do ok, even though I was a vet tech assistant for years On the upside, I had 4 more weeks to prepare, AND more time to SHOP SHOP SHOP for goodies for the spoiled princess, BUT more importantly, made me even more relieved to have her! You will be so happy once you get her, that time waiting will be soon forgotten |

| Thanks guys, you've made me feel loads better! Sleep?! Are you nuts?! I've been so excited about her that I've not slept properly since before I got confirmation that she was mine! lol I think the only way I'm going to get some proper sleep is when she gets here and all that anticipation is over! lol Ooooh, I'm sooo excited! Yeah, I guess a little more time does give me more time to lurk on eBay for some puppy extras! Jess |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Congratulations on your upcoming new arrival! Yes, yes.......we all know 8 weeks is so young for a tiny baby to leave it's mama; you've waited this long; it will be well worth the extra 2 week wait. How far away is the breeder...are you able to visit? Or have the breeder send you a new picture each week. Or savor the picture you do have (I assume that's the puppy in your avatar) until she comes home. I'm sure I don't have to say it, but be sure to post pics of the happy homecoming! 2 weeks did you say........we'll be watching

| 2 weeks will fly in,it is great that you breeder is going to keep her for 2 more weeks , as it is the norm over here at 8 weeks so at least you know you have a conciencious breeder. They wait will be worth it!

| aaawww hun! I know how excited you are! but it is better that she gets to stay with her mother a bit longer..I know what you must feel like though as Pixie's breeder delayed me by 3 days and that was bad enough! lol she was 14 weeks when I finally got her which was best for her with her being such a tiny to pass the time..hang around on here and do some more shopping!
