| Yorkie Lost at DFW airport Hi, I am new to this forum and am hoping maybe somebody on here can help me. I was having a yorkie shipped at DFW Airport on Saturday 9/13/08 and the people who were shipping her let her loose accidently. I have posted an ad on craigslist. Does anybody else have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. Zane |

| did you call the lost and found at the airport? Housekeeping dep. maintenance dep. It might be in the surveillance cameras. If the sequitity dep really wants to help you they can. Sequitity in the airports are very tight nowadays. They should have it on camera. Plead and beg if you have to. Was she microchip?fill out a incident or lost/stolen report at the police. I am so sorry. I am praying that you find her

| The people who were doing the shipping searched for about 4 hours and had the airport searching with them. Bulletins were sent out to everyone at the airport. She was not microchipped but has an ear tattoo. |

| I have being in that airport before. I can see how it would be hard to find. Yet I have hope, that an honest person will find it. Have you call the radio stations taxie's dispatchers, keep bugging the airport authorities about it. Ayorkie atracts attention. Someone will come foward at least with a tip.

| She was 4 years old. She had gotten car sick on the way to the airport and they took her out to clean her and the kennel and then she got loose and it was dark so they could not see where she ran to. If nothing else I hope someone picked her up and takes good care of her. I hate to think of her crossing the roads to get out of the airport |

| Wait so did she get out prior to getting to the airport or she actually got loose inside the airport? If she got loose inside the airport, I would think that a search would be done until the dog is found and this would be pretty newsworthy! How much do you know about who was shipping her?

| I think they lost her in the parking lot. If they had taken her inside it would have been no problem to find her. Yes flights left Dallas early in the morning before the storm. I was buying her from a breeder who had paid these people to ship her. Yes, she offered to refund my money or get me a different dog. I am actually getting Golden yorkie to replace her and the breeder is no longer going to use this shipper. The dog lost is a Parti Gene carrier and is the Grandmother to my Parti male Otto.
