I won't be able to have him for 4 months

They do give us visitation privileges at the site,
but it still isn't the same as having him home.
And everytime we part (),
it's heartbreak all over again

This is one of the reasons why I never had a dog when I was stationed in Hawaii and the cat we had before we were ordered to move was left with my mom. Good thing is its not 6 months for you. That was the rules when I left to go over. Yes I know how the military is....they gave us a 30 day notice to leave for Hawaii, I had to stay back another 6 weeks with my daughters due to one of them just being born, and she had to be 6 weeks old before they allowed me to move. I'm sorry that you have to be apart from your baby...but think on the safe side of things, there is not a over population of dogs running lose on the military base that could cause harm or sickness to your baby. Also its home for you guys......

I'm so sorry for your family and Bronzee Bear I feel bad for him, where does he sleep? What kind of place is it he stays at? I was reading a while ago and read that they can stay at someone's house for a while. I plan to go to hawaii someday, hopefully mine will not have to stay in quarantine. I think if you follow all the regulations it is fine, they are just very strict over there. Does he atleast get to walk outside, etc?
