| What to use to "Clean Floors" I have 2 8week old Yorkies and would like to know what to use in the way of cleaners for their "room" and my kitchen floor that won't harm them. Before I got Carley and Chase I used Armstrong Once n' Done cleaner but it has ammonia in it. I've heard horror stories about "Swiffer" cleaner causing death from the dogs licking their paws. Any suggestions?? |

| I threw my swiffer mop out when I got Buddy because my daughter told me the samething. However, later I was told it was not true. I have always used only Lysol cleaner for my floors until recently I purchased a Bissel Steam Mop. It uses only water. The steam that comes out of it when used sanitizes the floors. I use Lysol once a month anyhow. |

| I use ammonia and water. I have the overhead fans running and they dry very quickly. I've never had a problem.

| To Clean the Floors Well Martha says to use Hot Water and Vinegar and I did until my marble floors started looking dull and then the Man who came to polish them said never ever use vinegar on marble it eats the finish off. He said ohter surfaces do great with Vinegar, it disinfects and it is safe w/pets. So it depends on what kind of floor you have.

| I spray it down with Nature's Miracle in a spray bottle once or twice a day under potty pads, and then mop with Murphy's Oil Soap once a week

| I use anything all natural from our local health food store called Greenlife. There is also a new natural cleaner from I believe Clorox. It is cheaper than most you'll find in a health food store and completely green and all natural. I feel better knowing there is nothing in it that can harm my babies.

| Occasionally I use a Swiffer (both wet and dry) and other times I use vinegar and water.

| I have tile floors and use the Bissell Steam Mop on it. Quick, easy and disinfects. It was worth every penny. |

| I use Holy Cow all-purpose cleaner. It's organic and non-toxic. So far no problems with it.

| Bleach if you can.... If you can use Bleach is the best ever... it kills virus and bacteria and id diluted at the proportion of 30/1 it is effective against worms, and all nasty things as well. And is very safe. I use it all over and it is the best "peace of mind" for us. After it dryes all the clhorine evaporates and you are left with clean disinfected floors. Of course i would not put my face to it as i am washing so keep the dogs away until you dry it or until it dryes out. Good luck.
