| Can Dogs see in Color?? I have a facial mud mask on my face, and it's green, and Otis won't have anything to do with me!!! He will only look at me for a second, then he turns his head in the other direction as if he's ashamed of me! |

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | lol!!! thats really funny!! i've heard from lots of places that they are color blind, i don't really think that. i remember hearing somewhere that they can see some colors but can't tell the difference between certain ones. like they can see purple but couldn't tell the difference between red and orange. i heard the same for horses. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

| I went to Vet assistant school many, many years ago and we were taught that dogs see in shades but not colors.. Maybe the facial had a smell that he didn't like.

| Hmmm...Not sure. Sometimes I think so but then at other times I don't. The question remains unknown...For me.

| How funny! Is he just avoiding you or are you suspicious to him now. If I saw you pop around the corner of my house I might be a little scared of you, too, with all that on your face, haha! I've heard dogs are colorblind but I'd be much more likely to believe they can see really sharp shades, not bright colors.....but you know all those expensive PetStages toys at PetSmart....they're so colorful! Surely that's for a reason for the dogs and not just so we'll buy them? Hmm...

| They make those dog toys all cute and colorful FOR US!! Otis has a small tiny mallard duck toy, and I asked my BF, "Hey, do you think Otis recognizes this is a duck?" My BF was like, "Heck, no! Otis has no idea what that is! They made it all cute for us!" I guess us dog owners are all suckers! |

| I just recognized your avatar of Sully! He should be a spokesperson for the fire department on how to put out fires: Stop, drop, and Roll. It's so cute! |

| JUNEBUG — Yes he'd love to replace the dalmation and be the new Fire Dog, haha! I made this avatar from a video I took a couple of months ago - crazy how much his colors have changed since then! And that was just taken in like, March, I think? Or April. I've got another REALLY GOOD avatar I've made and will put up on Mon. or Tues. - Sully is going to make me dizzy watching him roll over a zillion times, lol. Btw, we taught the puppy to sit! Well, Angela did actually, all by herself! 9 weeks old and he can already sit on command! How 'bout THAT! I'm going to get Angela to post a video b/c it's amazing! ANNADOODLE — That's just such a funny angle to take about our dogs and their toys....true, but funny. To them, it's like "this toy" and "that toy over there" - but to us it's the squirrel, the beaver, the squeaky soccer ball, the petstages toy with strings, the pink flying disk, the tennis ball, the rope toy.....LMAO! And it gets worse because every time WE go to PetSmart, we think, hmm, my dog doesn't have a "such and such" toy yet.....but if it's soft and has a squeaker, it's all the same to our dogs and they already have five or six! Man that's funny. But does it stop me? No, probably not much, to my husband's dismay.
