| Please help if you can and don't criticize..... I am so sorry and please don't get upset with me but I am looking to rehome my precious babies. I definitely got myself into this selfishly and it is not fair to my babies. I love them dearly and I know they love me but here is the deal.....I am a nurse manager and my job is demading and I'm not home a lot and I can't seem to get these two pottytrained. I am very frustrated and my house smells of urine all the time as they think my house is a huge bathroom. They are male and female. The male is 17 months old and the female is 6 months neither are fixed. My kids are no help to help walk them and I don't get home til after 7 most nights. They forget to let them out. Im just frustrated now. Please don't be upset with me.

| i am very sorry you had to come to this heartbreaking decision. Maybe something can be worked out such as a petsitter, or a neighbor coming in and taking them out when your gone. Perhaps a doggie daycare would be an option? I am not upset, it is your choice alone to make. However, i am wondering why you got them in the first place several months ago? I see that they are quite young, and yorkie's are expensive, and need a lot of care, and attention. I think it is hard me to understand why? after getting them, not too long ago, then rehoming them? Potty pads work great inside. My Suzi is 6 months old, and shee pees all the time on them. the poo is not always on the pad, but, i expect that, and just clean it up afterwards. if I were in this situation i would exhaust all possibiltes first. I believe that I'd do anything for my Suzi. In order to keep her with me in my life, forever. Having a pet is A serious commitment, and not to be taken lightly .My feeling is that when you have a pet, it is for good, not to decide to give it away when things become to difficult.

| I can't imagine anyone getting upset with you over this. I know how demanding your job is. I also know how little help kids can be. You are thinking of your babies first. Please, be patient while finding the right home for them.If they are close to each other , see if you can find someone who will take both of them. Yt , I am sure, will bond together to find the right homes for your babies. Are you going to charge for them? Tell us more about each one...size, weight, personality, The best thing you can do is to post their pictures on this site, with all of their information. |

| You will be doing the right thing for those dogs..it will be sad for you to let them go..maybe a fellow YT'er will take them on..then you could pop on here and be kept updated on how they are...don't feel bad..not everyone has the guts to admit that they are not coping..I commend you. GOODLUCK.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I'm so sorry you are going through this, I wish we could have helped sooner, you sound overwhelmed now. One thing I learned is that pee mistakes need to be cleaned up with an enzyme cleaner such as Nature's Miracle, it contains special enzymes that eat the protein in urine that cause the smell, and also causes the dog to return to that spot again and again. If you decide that rehoming is the best option for you, I hope you please get these dogs fixed first, or turn them over to a rescue that will do this for you. Many people will look at your dogs as a money making machine otherwise. Many puppy brokers look like nice normal people, and will assure you that they would never use your dog for breeding, but they will sell them to someone else for this purpose. You say your kids are no help with all this, do they understand you are serious?

| I'm so sorry that things aren't working out, but you are making the choice you feel is best for your babies. Where in NY are you? I might know someone who would be interested.

| I am praying for a fellow YTer to take them. I would prefer they stay together as they are the best of friends. I will wait for the right home, they will not go to just anybody. I got them for the family, and my family has backed out on helping with them. It is not fair to them. Yes, they get loved and spoiled, plenty of it, but not taught things, like house breaking. I have tried the wee wee pads and Tobey, my male will not use them, he prefers my couch or table ends to lift his leg up on....LOL....Jade will use the wee wee pads, sometimes. It is not the poo that bothers me because it is small and easy to get up. I am constantly stepping in a wet spot on my rugs and didn't even know it was there. I have treid several things. I paid good money for these dogs....$750 for Tobey and $900 for Jade. I had good intentions but stuff happened at my job, like 2 others nurse managers leaving and leaving only me and one other nurse manager for a 160 bed Sub Acute rehab/LTC facility. It has been this way for a couple of months now and we are merging with another company now so there is no hires for awhile. Meaning I am hardly home. My kids are so sad now and they know I am serious so maybe this will make them step up to the plate. These dogs are plenty of loved, carried all over, sleep in our beds, eat only Eukanuba I buy the best for my babies, clothes and all. They get bathed twice a week with Pantene, they are definitely pampered pooches. This is not an easy decision for me, but I think in the long run it will be best for the babies and it's better it's done now, while they are young. I would love to watch them grow here on YT. They should stay together and I feel strongly about that, that I am willing to wait for someone who will take both. I will ask for a rehoming fee because they were expensive but not looking to get 100% back. Just want to make sure whomever takes them is serious and will raise them correctly and spoil them. They are both AKC registered. Jade is microchipped. Neither are fixed so there is breeding potential, for any professional breeders out there. Anyhows thanks for listening and please know that I love my babies. I have been on Yorkie Talk for awhile now and I post pics of them a lot. Tobey is VERY docile and will allow you to do ANYTHING to him.....even shave his manhood.....Jade now she is fiesty and HATES her bath! They are both cuddlers. They are always together. Tobey hardly barks where Jade has just started to bark and growl when someone comes to the door. Anyhows I could talk all night about them. Again, the hygiene part is lacking over here and I am very frustrated.
