| Harness? I want to try to leash train my yorkie, but I can't get him in a harneaa! He goes nuts for as long as you try to put it on him. Are there harnesses where you don't have to stick their head there heads through a hole? Like one that straps on? If not, what would be the best harness to buy as I took the first one back to the store. TIA! |

| I found the vest harnesses worked better on Hot Rod when he was younger. they wrap around from the back and velcro. He used (and still does) bite and chew his strappy harness. I got his vest from walmart...it's too warm for the summer time though. They also have a pink lepoard print for girls that I got for Maggie. Be careful if you go there...they have xs and then they have toy sizes. I got the toy sizes.

| I bought a Puppia-like harness and I really wish I bought a step-in harness (doesn't go around the head, just step into it with the legs)... my yorkie hates when I take the harness off his head and he wriggles away. When he's an adult, I'll buy a step in harness! |

| Which one, ChokeFree or the Puppia vest? Also, I got some shirts with the hole for the D-ring and the furballs wore their ChokeFree underneath the shirts and they totally looked cool in the Pet Fair we went to this past Saturday. Did you end up going? I'll post again the Pet Fair thread. |

| Buddy Belt I had a terrible time with Barclay, he chewed through several and most were huge. I then found the buddy belt- (google it if you like) it has been awesome! No over the head, he can't chew it and it is cute!

Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | hehe...they have the step in harnesses also at petsmart...since your babie is still growing i would get something that is small and adjustable...and once your baby has reach the adult size then i would custom order some

| Lucy isn't fond of her harness either, but I sit her in front of me, facing away from me, slip it over her head real quick and clip it around her chest. I think I would have more trouble getting a step-in one on her. Just bought a harness for our new puppy and I didn't even think of getting a step-in one...
