Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Audrey-Belle is back! I posted two weeks ago that we were taking Audrey-Belle on a road trip to Sacramento, CA. I am sorry I wasn't able to post while on the road I only had access once to a computer. Anyway, we got home last night and she was so excited to see her house and yard she ran around acting silly and hopped on her back legs! She even let the cat touch noses with her! She is a 7 pound road warrior. We didn't know what to expect but she did great, not one accident or car sickness. She even stayed quiet when we smuggled her into hotels on the way home. She'd growl when she heard someone outside our door but we told her it was ok and she'd stay on guard but quiet. On the way there we slept in the truck with her, the truck was packed to the gills on the way back so that was no longer an option. She either stayed in her snoozer or climbed around on stuff in the back seat till she found a pillow or something she liked. She doesn't like it when the sun is on her bed, it's to hot. She learned real quick she couldn't get out without a harness and leash and when we stopped for a potty break that meant her too. She did great with the three grand kids ages 9-2 and 6 months. I think she was ready to be away from them when we left however, she'd never been around kids before that we know of. I wish she wasn't so afraid of strangers as the 83 year old aunt wanted to hold her all the time but she would't let her, but she would lay on her bed. She didn't like the new food (grain free duck and potato) so we had to find a store on the way back for more food. I had mixed it with her old Eukanuba and she picked that out and left the new food. I didn't want to buy more Eukanuba but she had to eat something till we got home. LOL So she has a few miles on her now, MN to CA then CA to Montana then back to MN. Well, it's my birthday today and I have laundry and unpacking to do. I plan to drag my feet but get it done. Guess I should put some food in the fridge too! Just wanted to say we're back and Audrey-Belle did great!
