ROLLLLL TIDE! You're outnumbered, Carter's Mom. Bettyanne's a Bama Fan too! Now I have an excuse to buy the Bama tee they have at the petstore!!! I'll post pics soon! Oscar's mom, I'm in T-Town!!! Where are you? My fiance's from Tuscumbia (Florence area) and we visit often!!??

Carter's Mom, I'll concede y'all have better seafood ... I'm drooling thinking about the Acme, Bayona, Uglesich's, et. al. in Nawlens!!

GREAT photos, Carter's Mom!!! We have some wonderful friends who live in Monroe, LA and if you scratch them, I swear they bleed purple!! We have a great "friendly rivalry" with them! However .... I do have to join Oscar's Mom and lucynfred in support of our Crimson Tide ..... soooooo .....

We live about 15 minutes east from Florence in a little place called Center Star, AL...between Florence and Athens. Email me sometime you guys are in the area, and if I am in town, we can maybe get our Yorkie boys together! If I decide to visit my daughter in NC early this summer and drive instead of fly, I'll let you both know that I'm coming through! It would be nice to have a get together for anyone in the area . . . . Alabama, northeastern Georgia, southeastern Tennessee!

The best party (next to Mardi Gras) is an LSU tailgate party! I can taste it now . . . bacon-wrapped shrimp kabobs on the pit!

Sounds like a plan...looking forward to a Yorkie get together...I know Oscar would love it! All he has to play with are our two outside cats...let me know when you plan to come this way. We will be going to Florida middle of February for two or three months, but plan to stay closer to home after that. Holler at me when you know what your plans are.

when i had my first yorkie when i was younger and before marriage his name was Buckwheat.. like on little rascals.. so his AKC name was "Mr. Buckwheat O'tay" because how they used to say "OOOOOO'tay" lol.. sorry i just thought i'd share but i dont' have any ideas lol

That is toooo funny!!! One of my "pet names" for my husband is "Spanky" because his toddler pics look just like Spanky MacFarland!! He calls me Darla!

Hi everyone,
I'm new to YorkieTalk, and I'm enjoying your conversations so far. I'm facing the same dilemma in coming up with a unique name for Sophie (my sister is her mom). We'll most likely include part of her sire's name which appears almost all the way down the line in his pedigree, and we'd like to keep that going. But...we haven't yet decided on what to add to it. It takes some imagination. I'm always amazed at the names of dogs that compete in dog shows. They're really clever.
