Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | How long does it take to grow their coat to grow full length I was just wondering how long it takes for Yorkie's to get their full coat like the yorkie's in the dog shows. My Yorkie is almost 7 months old and he got a puppy cut in June. Now I want to see how he's going to look with it longer since winter is on it's way.

| It can take 2 years for some. But also if you do not care for it like the show breeders do, it will not grow to the floor. Those people keep the hair wrapped up so it doesn't get damamged when they play. But it will get to almost touching the floor. |

| Ginger's hair has been growing since LAST summer. This is the first summer that I haven't had to cut it off due to allergies (yaaay)...and it's oh, maybe 5 inches long? (that's from the middle of her back). Bernie gets shaved regularly and I think if I let his curly mop grow (yes it's curly, hence the shaving) it'd be a mile high in a couple of months. Good luck growing your guys hair out. And post pictures of his progress!
