| When Emma & Milli want to be picked up, they will come up to you, and then turn around. They know it's easier to be picked up if they're facing away from us, and then they can see "out" in front of us. Emma can tell time. She knows when it's breakfast & dinner time-no clue how, but she can, and she reminds us if we're not right on the ball with feeding her promptly at 6 and 6. Sometimes she thinks dinner should come a little early, but we have to remind her it's not time yet. If they are asked "Are you hungry?" they will bark if they are. Emma can open doors if they're closed, but not latched completely. They can both distinguish the difference between hi-five, wave, and shake.

| shampoos I'm new here. I have a yorkie he's almost 11 months old and weighs 9 lbs. He has the course hair which makes brushing him great. But, I am wondering what is the best shampoos and conditioners to give him that shiney coat that i see yorkies have. And is there a no-no about putting a poneytail in a male yorkies hair. I'm trying to let teddy"s hair grow at but it's getting long on top. I try to keep it back by constantly pushing it back but it still ends up in his eyes. Any suggestions. |

| There was once I fell from the stairs and tumble down a couple of steps down the stairs. It was very painful and I couldn't get up. Hubby was in the bathroom upstairs taking a bath. I yelled "Honey, help me. Honey help me". Of course hubby couldn't hear me with the shower turned on. My little Yorkie knew I was in pain and needed my hubby. He knew that when I call honey, I was calling my hubby which I didn't know he understood before that incident happened. He looked at me very worried and panicky (I swear he did!) and ran up the stairs really fast and then a few seconds later ran down and then up again and down to check on me and then up again. After 5 minutes, the pain subsided a little so I forced myself up and limped up the stairs to get hubby. I saw my Yorkie trying to paw the bathroom door to try to get hubby's attention to come help me. From that day onwards, I never underestimate his intelligence.
