well he did so good. didn't hardly cry in the cage and was just sittin there when i got up. he is so happy this morning. little tail a wagging and ate again. so far so good. his poop isn't loose. doesn't have worms in it so maybe they actually did worm them. i checked his tail and dewclaws and they seem to have healed really good. only bad thing i see is his over bite. so if that is all that's wrong i am so happy! i tried calling animal control in their town and got no answer so i left a message. not sure if they are in today as it's labor day.

hi everyone, i am pretty new here and had posted that i was in search of a yorkie. i just happened to go get a bulletin board and in the pets section was some yorkie pups listed for way cheap!!! so i called, got directions and went to check out the so called full blooded pups. when i finally got unlost lol and made it to their house. they had the pups caged up on the porch while about 15 other dogs ran around the yard. they let the pups out of the cage so i could look at them and low and behold they are full blooded. they have mom and sis from another litter. so i played with them for a while and looked at them closely. they don't feel like they are under weight as i can't feel ribs and they aren't dehydrated. but they were all sticky and stinky. there was one lil guy that's face and head didn't look right to me, but i am by no means an expert. i felt so bad for these pups. when they were running and playing the women were yelling for them and the pups didn't acknowledge they were being talked to so i was afraid the poor guys were deaf. but come to find out they just didn't want to listen to these people. of course i wouldn't listen either, the older guy beat a dog with a metal pole while we were there just cause it wanted some lovin. well i felt so bad for these poor dogs that i bought one. i would have bought all of them but i didn't have $1400 dollars at the moment. these dogs aren't registered, have no shot records, no health guarantee, and the one i took has an over bite or under bite not sure what it's referred to as. i am taking this little guy to the vet first thing tuesday morning. also he won't drink out of a bowl. i have to dip my finger in the water and he licks it off. i also stopped at the store and bought some karo syrup since pet stores were closed by the time i got him. i had read that i can use it if he won't eat so his blood sugar stays up. also these people say the pups are 10 weeks but gave no real answer on a birthday. i know i might have wasted my money on a dog tat has health issues and god forbid may not live long but i had to get him out of the environment he was in, just wish i could have brought all of them home! is there anything i can do for these poor animals legally? they are beat and yelled at and not well taken care of? thanks for any advice for me and my new little guy also. i haven't weighed him yet but am going to do that and take a few pics of him after his nap. we got home and he ate and played for a few minutes and is now napping on my lap. i just hope he is ok or that he can be helped if something is wrong as i love him so already!!!!!

Yes call your local anmal shelter and report them.

maybe they aren't in today. gonna try again in the morning. i went and got him a harness and leash,and a little blue camo vest with a hook for his leash. i couldn't resist it, just to cute lol. got some pee pads too, although he isn't using them lol. i have read of people here using the belly bands, what are they and how do they work and at what age can i start using them? he is said to be 10 weeks. tried to weigh him but won't stand still long enough. so we will have an answer to that tomorrow after the vet. he is eating so good!!! ate 2 times lastnight and 3 more so far today. when i asked what they were feeding him they said just whatever was the cheapest. so that was a concern since i would be changing his food.. afraid he would have an upset belly. i bought the cesar puppy food lastnight as that was the only one i remembered reading somewhere and the grocery store didn't have a huge selection. is this ok for him or should i change it to something else over time? he is doing good with it and really likes it. but i want to feed him what is best for him. i am just trying to do my best for him since he hasn't had the best in his short life so far. any suggestions are appreciated!!

Your litle Lucky is very cute. Thank you for saving him. I agree with all the others.........please do whatever you can to get that breeder checked out and if need be, get the other dogs (adults & puppies) away from what seems like a horrible situation.
Please let us know how Lucky's vet appointment goes...hope he checks out in good health.

well Lucky is an absolute joy! if there is anything wrong then he sure doesn't show it. he has a healthy appetite, tons of energy,loves my 2 sons, loves to give kisses, and is a cuddler . so far the only thing i have noticed is his overbite. and he peed on his pee pads 2 times tonight yay!! he is winding down for the night and about to go to bed. i'm glad he doesn't mind his cage at night but he was in a cage on the porch when i got there so he might have spent alot of time in one! he whines at first but after i say no he tilts his head to the side and goes to lay down. he didn't like his bath lastnight and hates being brushed, he tries to bite it lol. but he will just have to get used to it. doesn't seem to mind his vest and leash either, we went for a walk around the yard and he walked right beside me. i will let everyone know how his vet visit goes, keeping our fingers crossed!!!

You have to keep us posted!!! I'm so glad he found you and you saved him. Let us know everything after your vet appointment tomorrow- weight and all and definitely call animal control tomorrow PLEASE!!!! And maybe the police department in that town. Also when it comes to food the vet may have a good suggestion but I like organic kibble ( dry food ) I found when I got Keoki that worked great!!! I can't wait to hear how everything goes- He is VERY lucky!!!!

where did you get him from? this sounds exactly like the place I got mine from! No regristration, No shot record, pup a smelly mess. and to boot mine had pnemonia, and was scared to death of people, I bought my Riley just to get him out of there also, so I know how you feel. It was a good thing you done. My pup was extreamlly cheap at $250, and I turned the people into the animal control, but I havent heard anything back. they were in Ohio, and must have had 20 differnt pups of various breeds.
