MrsStraty Don't you worry about some of the comments on here - you are doing the kind and thoughtful thing. I hope your babies find wonderful homes. |
I feel she's being responsible in not just dumping them. I'm sure it's a hard decsion but she's doing what she feels is right. I'm sure she'll have no trouble finding them homes. My only suggestion would be to have them neutered and spay first. I'm not clear as to whether she is looking for a rehoming fee or not but if she is just looking for a good home then she could always add a rehoming fee just to cover the cost of spay and neuter this way you are 100 percent sure that they do not end up being bred. Believe me there are a lot of very good liars out there and no matter how well you check and how sure you are unless they are neutered or spay you can never be 100 percent sure. This would be my only suggestion to you. That and a contract with whoever takes them that if for any reason they can't keep them they must contact you in which you have the option of taking them back, also in the contract state that if you are not satisfied that they are being cared fro properly that you have the right to take them back. This is all very important. I wish you all the best. Elaine |
wow pretty babies, i want em ! should be no problem. |
Best of luck in finding homes for your babies. This cannot be easy on you. |
I love Elaine's post. I think that if I really do decide to do this I will make up a contract. They will be fixed also and I must be able to watch them grow up either locally or on YT! |

The woman I got Pebbles from had her up to date on shots & spayed a couple months before she rehomed her. Her rehoming fee was for just about the cost of those charges. I know, because I got copies of her vet history from where this was done. That saved me from having to have it done during trying to get her used to living with a new family. |
Oh they are absolutely adorable!!! I wish I had more room, I'd love to have them! I wish you the best of luck in everything working out so they can stay with you! But if that can't be the case, I wil be praying for you that the perfect mommy comes along to spoil your babies forever! :) Also, I know you're in a lot of pain over this. Two of mine came to me through a similar situation and until someone is in your shoes they have NO CLUE what you're going through and cannot judge you at all. <3 |
I am not going to lecture you or even question you for that matter - I don't think that it is ANYONES place here to do that. I commend you for making this decision and putting your babies FIRST...and might I add that they are very beautiful by the way :) I hope you have good luck in finding them the perfect home! |
LOL.. My kids keep coming down to the computer room, "Mom are you really going to give them away? Mom please don't." They really love them and spoil them, my boys ages 14 and 13 but they NEED to step up to the plate because they are the ones that are home...not me, atleast not right now. But my teenaged boys are quite nasty if I might say and will let them go to the bathroom wherever, and then NOT clean it up unless I tell them to. We will see what happens. maybe this is a wake up call to them. I will get Tobey fixed to see if that helps. He is more the culprit than her cuz he actually gets his pee soaked into my couches! If I decide to do this, they will not go to just anybody and I must be able to watch them grow. I love my babies and I can't wait to get off this computer to go to bed and snuggle for the night! LOL!:) |
US Boys will be boys, i mean im not like the poochie who pees on the couch but grwoing mom had to tell me what to do. |
I hope everything goes well for you and your babies, whatever happens. I would like to point out that your girl is reaching an age where she could have her first heat and become pregnant, so be mindful of that. I only mentioned this because I saw the way Tobey was looking at her in one of your pictures. She's way too young to be a mom and you certainly don't need more on your plate. Since you aren't home much, you may want to consider separating them when there's no one around to keep an eye on them if you don't get Tobey neutered. Many people aren't aware their girl's in heat until she's tied up with a male. :aimeeyork :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa :) |
