Tobey is 17 months and weighs 5.5 lbs and Jade will be 6 months old on Sept.11th and she weighs 3.5 lbs. I got Jade when she was 3 months old and she weighed 2.8 lbs when I first got her. Tobey was 6 months when I got him and he weighed 4.5 lbs when i got him. Pictures will go up in awhile. |
Wishing you good luck..I just have to say.. that had you got your boy neutered at a young age he would not be using your furniture to cock his leg on.. I guess many people are just not aware of it. If a male is not going to be used as a stud.. they need to be altered and the sooner is better for better behavior... some will even squat to do a pp.. and always do this.. Again I am sorry this is happening to anyone purchasing a puppy. anne |
mscat That is exactly what she "didn't" want to hear. Preaching, etc. No wonder people are afraid to post on YT. This place used to be great for getting advice but certainly isn't what it used to be because of posts like yours. You shouldn't judge, unless you are living her life. |
amen! |
Thank you Yorkie Lover. I feel so guilty about this already and thats why I came here. For advice and to be honest. I will not place my babies with just anyone. I am NOT looking to just get rid of them. I want the best for them and am willing to wait it out and if during that time I am waiting and things turn around here, then guess what, my babies stay with their mom! I think i am going to get Tobey fixed. He is already well behaved and VERY docile. I had wanted to get into breeding when I first got them but that is WAY off limits now. I see that now! |
MrsStraty I sent you a PM. Thanks. Elaine |
yay !!!!!!!!!! |
You know????? I shall post my opnion no matter what, and feelings. Sorry if it up set a couple of posters, however, I truly believe that honesty is the best policy, I shall not kiss other people *** , when it is uneessary. i love my yorkie with all my heart. It is unfortunate that others believe that their pets can be tossed out whenever things get to be rough. I totally disagree with that, and it is no wonder their are many unwanted dogs everywhere. It is a crying shame that some do not think before buying a beloeved animal, and down the road decide it is too much to handle. AND that is how I feel. Too bad some want to judge, or be as nice as pie, when lives are at stake. WHATEVER. Go ahead and attack me some more. |
Wishing you the best in finding them good homes. If you are truly not there enough to care for them as they should be, then I think it is very responsible of you to rehome them. Best of luck. :) |
wow she just wants her dogs to go to a good home. be sympatheitic, it didnt work out and she knows that. her kids i am sure promised but you know how kids are. this woman site is so dramatic. should have gotten a labrador:D:p. you have good post and i like you , but she knows. she said so |

I did not mean to sound like I was preaching.. if so I am sorry.. I just thought there might be some to see this.. some people obviously do not realize that getting a male neutered does not just mean to do this so you cannot breed.. there really are people that feel if they are not going to breed a male.. why worry about altering him.. is all I was saying.. if taken wrong I am sorry for that.. anne |

mypreciouspups I wasn't talking about your comment - I was talking about mscat's comment. The woman came here to YT to rehome her Yorkies to people who love Yorkies. She could of run an ad in the paper and sold them to the first person that knocked on her door and gave her cash (which she probably wishes she had done now) then she wouldn't have to deal with the comments and judgement she received on this site, but she didn't, she knows that the members of YT would give her babies loving homes and she'd probably always be able to keep in touch and find out how their doing. Yes, everyone has their own opinions as mscat pointed out to me in a PM, but it doesn't mean you have to post negativity when someone is looking for help. I'm sure the poster appreciated the extra helping of guilt added to her plate of worries. It's called compassion. |
LOL...No problem I kind of figured I would get this response from some people because they care so deeply and that is fine. Don't think I already KNOW all of this but hey some things just do not work out and it is better I find this out now than later. Also I am going to get Tobey fixed to see if this helps any and Miss Jade, well who knows. Just know that I LOVE my babies but had NO clue going into this that my kids would back out on me like this especially now when my job is so demanding! I literally work 12-14 hour days 6 days a week! This is not fair to these babies either....and this WAS NOT the case when I got them! The job thing has only been for the past 2 months and it is not going to let up because of the merger. So tell me, is this fair to them either, to leave them home alone, penned up in the kitchen? Don't think so. Lifestyle change here, and I cannot leave my job, beacuse then I couldn't afford them. So damned if I do damned if I don't type of thing! I do bring them to work with sometimes but this can't be an everyday thing. |
