| ![]() Hey you guys, So I was just taking Roxi & Rocco out for their nightly walk and as soon as we walked out the door Rocco seemed like he stepped on something. He was licking it and I didnt find anything at first, then saw the bee.... He wasnt walking on it at first, but I immediatly turned around and came back in the house... Should I be worried? He seems ok and is walking on it fine so far... Happened about 5 min ago... Help need advice YT Thanks

| ![]() How is he acting? If he has any signs of a reaction you need to take him in to the emergency vet.

| ![]() You need to be very careful. You need to make sure he doesn't go into anaphylactic shock. I would search for the stinger and if you see it pull it out and give him a little bit of benadryl. Mia stepped on a bee and I rushed her to the vet. She gave her a benadryl shot and she couldn't find the stinger. Mia didn't yelp just held up her paw and I pulled the bee of her pad. Just watch him for a reaction.

| ![]() If there was going to be a reaction it would have been immediate. Call the emergency vet and ask for the dose according to the weight.

| ![]() They will not tell me a dose to give over the phone (they say they will not dispense medical advice via telephone) but told me just to watch him for a reaction. So I have him a tiny little chip off the corner of a benadryl.. I hope thats ok! He does now seem to be limping a bit too...
