| They say could be largest Animal rescue operation in states history! Humane Society and volunteers worked together to remove these dogs from the property sat. at whispering oaks kennel just right outside of parkersburg out rt.50.They said it would take days to remove all of these dogs.1000+ dogs rescued (dachshunds, yorkies and others)from whispering oaks an internet-based business breeding dachshunds since 1961,and other small breeds as well. They sayed they appeared to be well-nourished no signs of abuse but the number of dogs at the kennel was more than any human being could possibly care for.The humane society ,west virginia division of environmental protection and sheriffs dept.have been investigating of possible dog related pollution. The owner hasnt been cited for animal neglect-related charges but the pollution investigation is on going. She agreed to never operate again! Many of these dogs will be taken out of state adoption centers. officials say its to many to be housed and adopted locally. |

| If that's the one I heard about on the news this morning they said some of these animals had lived there entire lives in cages, never taken out at all. They said some of them had never even been touched by a human, but I find that hard to believe they had to be put in the cage somehow. It is horribly sad the conditions these babies were in I hope they can be adopted out and live happy lives now.

| Oh My Gosh... What a terrible thing, I can't believe that anyone could do this....... Looking at those little faces and knowing that they had nobody loving them just breaks my heart.

YT 500 Club Member | This is just horrible how could someone do something like this to something that is so precious to all of us. I just don't see how. Don't they worry how they are doing, do they even have a heart? a soul ?
