| Im lost Toby is acting REALLY wierd this morning. He seems to be VERY possesive, i posted about him "hugging" me and kissing me this morning and that was the firrst wierd thing, but now i was trying to get the cat out from behind the TV (she likes to chew on cords) and toby DID NOT WANT ME TO TOUCH THAT CAT!, he barked at me and snapped at my hand a little bit (i did the NO BAD DOG thing and he slinked off to watch my struggle with the kitty menace and the TV) but i thought it was really wierd..... everything is the same, food, ect... the only thing that is different is my being on vacation for the past couple of weeks but he has never acted like this before........ im really lost on thsi one |

| He loves you! Probably has gotten closer to you since you were on vacation. They are sometimes very possessive and I'd say at different times more clingy than others. I could barely get out the door this morning without Kacee! Anytime I'm home for a few days I've noticed she is more that way than if I leave each morning.

| The above post makes sense,,maybe it is that you have been home more, lately,, and he likes it,,and didnt want you to pay attention to the cat...could be.

| You know they say 'absence makes the heart grow fonder'! That seems to be the case here, he missed his mommy!

| Dogs have "senses" or instincts about their owners. Things we would ever know. This is why some service dogs are service dogs due to the fact that they react a certain way when they know their owner is getting a migraine or has low blood suger if they are diabetic or are about to have a siezure if they are epileptic. Maybe he senses something about you from your mood or something else. Is there anything different about you that he may be reacting to? Do you have a toothache or a headache or anything? Just a thought. |
