| INFLATION - Price's go UP! Today was my "Yorkie Day", I took Artie to the Vet. for his Annual Vaccinations & General Physical, his usual Ckeck-up every year. That included Rabies, Bordetella, DHP/Parvo and Heartworm Test for 1 yr. not the 3yr. vaccinations they were even more expensive! It cost me $53.00 up $10.00 due to "INFLATION" and rising cost of Living? That's what they said. I also did not schedule an Appointment that saved an additional $30.00 by just "Walking in" and waiting of course. I also bought their weekly bag of Royal Canine, that was $18.99 w/tax a $5.00 jump from last week? They said b/c of the GAS Prices a higher cost for Delivery. Luckily, I don't have to take all 3 at the same time otherwise it ends up being multiplied by 3 instead of 1. I don't complain too much about how expensive they are, since I did'nt pay for any of them (They were all Gifts from an ex-BF) so I don't mind paying for their care & maintenance b/c their worth it! All this b/c of the GAS PRICES?It does'nt seem like much but it does add up. Not to mention they only drink cold bottled Spring water w/c also went up $1.00. Is it just in my neck of the Woods or is it all over? |

| No it is all over. Where I notice it the most is the grocery store.

| Crude oil prices affect everything from plastic packaging to crop fertilizer, in addition to the transportation costs. If you look at a breakdown of all the things we get from a barrel of petroleum, I don't think our nation can operate without it, even if we we're able to eliminate it as a motor fuel. I understand the need to be environmentally responsible, but for the families that are on the lowest economic wrung it's immoral for our representatives to go on vacation and let these people suffer. For someone to pretend to care about the poor but do nothing about increasing the oil supply? I'm not buying it. I say lift the restrictions and drill. We are the best in the world at getting oil out of the ground with the least environmental impact, let's get with it!

| The price inflation on everything is just insane!! It is like they are really trying to hurt the economy, it is ridiculous!! So I went to get their dog food, same place I always go to. So instead of them raising the prices for the food, the bag now comes with 5lbs less!! So I am still paying the same price but getting less food which means I will have to buy another bag sooner.

| More Rising Cost's! Another un-expected rising cost......I do all of their Grooming, I only have one out of my 3 that need their Nail's clipped, Abigail hates having them done and I hate doing it. The only time I take her to a Groomer and they raised their prices from $5.00 to $10.00, that's doubled just in the past week. In fact all their prices went up due to "Gas Prices"? |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I'm with everyone else - SICK OF ALL THE INFLATION - We as consumers don't get 'compensated' everytime prices go up yet all things we need are higher and higher every day - I feel your pain girl. My girls vet visit just about made my jaw drop - what USED TO BE 220.00 was $380 ! that was for an annual - shots - and their interceptor. WHEN WILL THIS END ?? I'm blessed to have a job but I still can't afford anything anymore - these days I hardly eat because all my money goes to bills and rent (& the girls) - it really REALLY SUCKS |
