| Is ice ok for my yorkie to eat?? The other night Bowies daddy was making me a drink( it was a loooooong day at work), Anyway a piece of ice fell on the floor and Bowie lunged for it, boy is he quick! He loved it, it ket him busy for a few mins but then i got scared that it was too cold for him or that he will choke on it. Am i just being a worried pawrent??

Donating Yorkie Yakker | I have worried Gabby would choke on ice so at first I didn't put it in their water--but now she leaves it alone. I ice their water whenever I freshen it up. She's been fine |

| I would say that as long as the cube wasn't IN the drink, it should be fine- you might have an ice puddle once it melts, though! I like to give my pup a cube to play with in the kitchen on hot summer days, but if I'm not careful, she'll bury it under the sink mat till it melts! |

| Pebbles is just like her momma~LOVES to eat ice! Actually, when she was not feeling well the vet told me to give her ice. When she didn't want it I knew she must have been feeling really icky. Point is YES both mine eat ice all the time. If they see I have a soda, they know they will get some for sure. I take a piece out of my glass and suck the Diet Pepsi off it and they get one after another after another after another

| My boys love to chomp on crushed ice. They started it when they were teething. I think the cold feels good to them. I can't leave a drink unattended. They'll lick it right out of my drink!

| Its the least of your worries with choking hazards. If it does get stuck, it won't take long to melt away. Its a great treat for hot summer months but Kaba won't really have anything to do with them.

| I guess Lilly's spoiled because I usually go get her a cup of Sonic ice or keep a bag of it in the freezer just for her, she loves it! I don't have an ice maker though and I don't give her the big cubes in the trays so this is much easier for the both of us. I love to hear her chomp away on the ice from Sonic.

| Ice Hi, I give my one year old small pieces of ice all the time. She loves it. Every time I take it out of the tray she comes running. I don't see anything wrong with it just as long as it is in small pieces. Carol
