Kathy, welcome to YT. I feel a certain kinmanship with you, as I drove all the way from Memphis., TN to Oaklahoma to buy my baby. 6 hours there and back...but oh she was worth it.

I'm new here also. I just love this site for Yorky lovers. My lucy is 10 weeks. My first Yorky was the love of my life also. My new little baby has already grabbed my heart. Don't they just have the best big personalities.

I don't think there is an organized social group but a few of us do try to get together for meet-ups occasionally. My OK social group in recent months has been OK Yorkie Rescue......have you ever consider helping out a rescue? We would love for you to join us!

Unfortunately I can't help out the resuce as much as I would love to. I have broken the condo rules as it is. We are only allowed one pet per household and my widowed Mom moved in with me and has her Pom. They potty in potty boxes so they aren't seen outside at the same time and no one knows. I hate being dishonest but I wouldn't part with either one!

I lived in BA for over 20 years and two of my sons live there with wives and kids. I have another son and his family in Tulsa though and one in GA.
