| I just don't know the answer. I don't take Tricksie outside because she loves to get lizzards and some are poisinous. I make sure she gets a lot of running excercise in side and around the pool. Of course, I have to go out first and make sure there are no lizzards, if so, I pick them up and put them in the courtyard. Never dreamed that I could catch a lizzard, "Just for Tricksie"!!!!!

| I know that is gross. Especially if you see them do it. My Rudy ate a live cricket ( I saw him do it ) and it never bothered him. Maybe you can call your vets and just ask them. Teddy, No more eating bugs.

| Eating a locust or junebug will not make him sick. As a matter of fact, I posted a few weeks ago that Pebbles pooped out an entire junebug!!! She is fine~not an issue. She is also my fly catcher, yep right in midair! There is also a thread on here about that as well. Chomp & a gulp Doodlebug had the shell of a locust in his mouth the other day~gross but not deadly. He was so disappointed when I made him drop it out of his little mouth. I'm sorry I know that I have been of absolutely no help but my babies are part exterminator.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Eating Bugs!! Yesterday morning when I took Toby outside he spied a Katydid and of course be wanted to play with it. I tried to rescue the Katydid but he took off running through the yard. I followed him but he wouldn't let me get very close. Then I realized it was to late the bug was dead and Toby ate the whole thing. I think it's okay it's just nature. A little extra protein lol I wouldn't worry about it.

| Wow~I can see you have a lot of support from all of us YT mommies with their bug catchers. Probably not what you where expecting I forgot to mention earlier that Doodlebug is the cricket hopper. At night he needs to go out~not to potty NOOOOOO but to hop on crickets in the grass. He is like a cat stalking its pray 4 lbs of terror coming at you!

| Mikki belongs to the bugs club too. It's too funny how she stalkes them and jumps on them... poor bugs... We had a mouse in the house and couldn't catch it.. too clever... we had nine traps set from the good old common trap to the round thingy, the life trap and sticky trap and nothing worked... Maggie was chasing him/her one day and the mouse was never seen again!!! Way to go Maggie!!!! |

| Yup, my Chewy does the same thing, he enjoys the chase to no end, all you have to ask is 'Where's the fly' and he goes nuts - he has great fun trying to catch them.
