No Longer a Member | Choking Hello Everyone, I have a question I need to ask. Chloe was eating tonight and she started to get choked. She started to gag and kept trying to cough something up. She was eating can dog food from Merricks. I always cut up the meat in really small amounts. She kept on trying to get it up. She couldn't throw up or cough it up. I picked her up and tried to pat her back because I really don't know what to do. I've only owned Chloe for 2 1/2 months and she is 9 months old. What do you do if your furbaby chokes? She also burps a lot. I think I may get some xrays done on her. Please, Please, Please let me know what to do for Chloe for her choking. It happens a lot to her. Thanks, Denise |

| My boy does that too! He burps and seems to "throw up" in his mouth alot! I know that is gross but that is it~ My husband is a human doctor and says it seems like some acid reflex type thing. I am taking Diesel to the vet this week to see about it! I will let you know what she says!
