| Did your vet not give you a paper or small "book" that has his vaccinations, dates when they were given and what he needs next with the date he needs them on? Mine did... hopefully someone can answer your question as I'm confused.

| Your pup should be getting another set. Usually the last one is given at 16 weeks depending on when the series was first given. I believe the vet here suggests getting the shots 3 weeks apart. I would talk to your vet just to make sure.

| Most veterinarians have their own schedules as far as puppy vax goes. We give 3 to 4 rounds every 3 to 4 weeks apart. The number of series depends on how early they are started, the puppies environment, lifestyle (inside/outside), and size. They MUST be done 3-4 weeks apart to allow them to build up the immunity they will need to make the shots effective. If they are not done on the proper schedule some vets will ask you to have an extra set. Vaccine laws have change in the last few years and a good proactive veterinarian will keep up with those things.

| Yes, your puppy will need a thrid set of vaccines. the schedule is set this way so that the puppy will be protected .. Antibodies interfer with these vaccines, and it is unaffective. That is where is a schedule for these routine shots.
