| Puppy Cut?? Hi All! I am wondering one thing, what is the "puppy cut" on adult yorkies and does anyone have pictures i can see? i am trying to decide if Sushi should have a long coat or a puppy cut. by the way, i posted earlier this month about Sushi being afraid of his food bowl, and after all the advice i got, i went to buy him some cuisine bowls, like for creme brule and he loves them!!! now he eats so much! he has gained 4 oz in two weeks! is that a lot? anyway, as always, i appreciate any responces on the puppy cut. thank you! | I keep Gus in a puppy cut most of the time. Check out my album; there are several pics that will give you a good idea of how it looks. The trick is to get the right place to do it right; the pic of Gus in his raincoat is when a bad groomer butchered the hell out of him. |

YT 500 Club Member | We keep Sophie in a puppy cut. See my avitar for her face. It is much easier to keep her neat as she has a cottony coat and mats easily. I like the look.

| Mine are in puppy cuts. Really it can be anything you want. I have them clipped short except for Sammy's topknot. Both of them mat easily and don't love to be brushed so it's easier. I also think it's cuter because they have super thick hair so I love it short. I also bathe them weekly so it's so much faster to blowdry them. Pics in my avatar - PM me if you need more.
