then have a reunion barbq... better idea, cuz you get to see them at 13 or 14 weeks...as long as you are keeping one or 2 puppies, it will be fine...

FINALLY!! I appreciate everyone's opinions, especially based on experience that I do not have, but I have to rejoice that someone finally agreed with me! Though, being in the legal profession for so long, I am truly giving weight to both sides. But what a great idea about have a reunion - I think that would make things so much easier!!! Thank you.

The pups will be 5 weeks old tomorrow and I am amazed at how much they've progressed in this little bit of time. They are interacting with me and the other pups so much now - and starting to look like little Yorkies. Except, right now, I think all of their faces look like little teddy bears!!!! Every day is a new experience with these little guys and I just have to be thankful for the time I do have with them and the opportunity I have to watch them grow each day.

And isnt that really what you seek? Closure in letting them start their new life without you? Just as when children leave home and people have parties - same principle. All about closure!

This year she even extended her hospitality to include anyone one on YT who would like to come, and we are going up there next week-end.
