| my baby made my DH happy My furbaby woke me up a little after 5 am the other day, barking his little head off. When I went to find him, he was standing in front of a door and racing back and forth. When I pulled it away from the wall just a bit, he dashed behind the door and almost immediately came back out----with a MOUSE in his mouth! |

| Was it dead or alive? I don't know what I would do if one of mine came back with a mouse!

| Our pom woke us up one night with a mouse pinned in the corner. He was quite ferocious with it. DH smashed it with a tennis racket!! Both of them were my heroes. |

| Yep that is definitely the terrier in him. They were bred to be hunters. These dogs were bred small to fit into the holes.

| Ahh!! Way to go for him!!! I'm almost positive if Lilly saw one she'd just run from it as would I. I hope I never encounter one while my dear boyfriend is away from home for work, I don't know what I would do because I'm a huge pansy !

| That's what they were bred for! They kept the rats out of the castles of Yore. I used to have hamsters that were escape artists. I would always know where in the house they were because Tristan would be staring intently (behind the washer, under the fridge, etc). Thankfully though, he never wanted to harm them, he just wanted to find them and sniff them.
