I just had to share the pics I got this am of the little girl sneaking up to cuddle with mom, on the bean bag, she ended up waking mom up, but then they both fell fast asleep again...

Mom has to wear a onsie when she is by the pups, because at 8 weeks they are still nursing, mom lets them, she even lays on her back to make it easy for them... BUT, mom now has to have surgery asap because she has a bleed somewhere in her reproductive organs, and her milk has to dry up before surgery, and two weeks of antibiotics... so in less than 2 weeks she will have surgery. Keep her in your thoughts that surgery goes well, and there are no complications.

Thos of her sleeping with mom just were soooo sweet...they actually brought "happy" tears to my eyes...they are soo precious!!!

ahhh.. what a good mommy she is. She even spoils her baby by letting nurse at 8 weeks.. The pictures are wonderful, you can feel the love she has for her babies. Good luck on the operation..

She has been a great mom, she would still feed them if I would let her. Ever since the pups were born she had at least one of them between her front paws while they were laying down... I have a lot of pics with them like that... even before they opened their eyes.

I hope surgery goes well, and she starts feeling better...

Thanks for looking at the pics- the pups have been fun, but very exhausting at the same time.

She won't be able to have any more litters, but that is ok... her daughter will also be fixed, we are pretty sure we are keeping her. (actually all of them will be sold on limited contract)
