| Why is this happening!? My boyfriend and i got our baby Bentley 3 weeks ago yesterday. He is now 11 weeks old, and a huge bundle of joy. except lately he has been waking up at 4 a.m. and barking for the past couple of nights like clockwork. we're going on maybe 5 nights now that he is doing this! He didn't do it in the beginning so why is he doing it now? Does anyone have an answer?!?! |

| Cooper did this when he was little too. We had to take him out of the crate and let him pee then I would get in the recliner and he would go back to sleep on my lap. Maybe his bladder is too small or something. I don't kow for sure. My hubby takes the dogs out late about 12 midnight and then they don't get up until about 7:30 or 8:00 now and Cooper is 8 months. Dasiy is very old she is 16 yrs old and has some bladder issues too. Hope someone else has more advise for you.

| He is VERY young and probably needs to go potty. Also, he is still adjusting to his new home and life. This transition is VERY stressful for him. Be patient and it will pass. Good luck!

| Thank You for helping. He goes outside when my boyfriend gets home from work at about midnight. And we do bring him out of the crate and go outside to go pee pee when he wakes up in the middle of the night. it was just strange to me that he would begin to do it in the third week of being with us and not right from the beginning. Maybe it had something to do with him being nervous at first and now that he's more comfortable he is able to wake us up to let us know he has to pee? | Yes, that's very possible that he's more comfortable with you now. My Tinkerbelle did the same thing after I got her. It was a couple of weeks and she started waking every night at 3 am! It did pass tho - so take heart! |
