| Fluffy or Smooth???? My little girl will be 9 weeks on Sunday 8/10/2008 and she seems to have a smooth coat rather than be fluffy. Everyone else's pup seems to be fluffy is there a certain age when your pups became fluffy or were they always like that?

| I'd like to see a picture of her. I'm not sure what you mean. Some Yorkies are what you call a cotton coat. It's a thick easily matted cotton feeling coat that isn't as shiny and a bit warmer to the touch. The thinner silky coat is very shiny and cool to the touch. Either one of them can start out one way as puppies and end up a lot different. My Zada had really thin coat as a puppy on up till she was over two years old and now her silky coat is also very thick now. Azrael had a very black, straight, thick coat till she was over two, and now it's grey and curly. They seems to keep changing all the time. My baby, Razael was extremely thin coated with the red legs when I got her at 14 months old and now her coat is getting longer, thicker and blonder, and on the legs the hair is long and blond.

| My Tobey has long, silky hair that is curly around his bottom if I dont blow dry it straight. My Jade has a cottony, easily matted coat, but she is only 5 months old and her color is changing.
