Captain Jack....Captain Jack Sparrow...Johnny Depp, of course! June Bug... We call her Junie B. She acts just like the kid in the Junie B. Jones books (very mischevious) Our springer spaniel is Roscoe P. Coaltrain from the dukes of hazzard (i let my husband pick that name) Our chihuahua is Fiona My Darlin' Dear... she is my 4 yr old daughter's dog. My daughter definitely has the south in her mouth. She talks like a perfect little southern belle, so when she calls her she says "Fiona my darlin' dear, where are you" Imagine that with a Scarlett O'hara accent! It is the sweetest thing ever! We just call her Fiona, after Shrek's wife! |
My oldest Yorkie is Maggie - Magnolia Rose after 2 of my favorite flowers. My boys are Dante - Dante's Inferno - favorite book and Leo - Leonardo Davinchi my favorite artist. And my newest girl is Friday - Heritage Hill My Gal Friday - The Heritage Hill is the breeder we got her from and My Gal Friday is and old Carey Grant movie that me and my sister (who passed away) we used to want it alot when we were kids. |
We named our baby girl Darla off the movie "Little Rascals":D I wanted to name her Bella but there is so many that is named that, and plus my dad wanted to name her Darla. :rolleyes::D |

I was obsessed with naming my fur kids... I have two yorkies, the M&M's - I have Maggie Moo (Margaret MooLatte) and Mollie Mae (Molasses Maybelline) - they're both adorable, and everybody laughs at their quirky little names...;) |
My Yorkies names are Jeter, Axl and Yumi Yasha. Jeter is named after my favorite Yankee player, Derek Jeter.I love the Yankee's been a fan since I was 4 years old, had his name picked out for over 10 years waiting for him too! His full name is Petrick's Sir Jeter Pendragon.. Pendragon is from the stories on King Arthur, it's King Arthur's last name. I love king Arthur stories! Axl was named by my oldest son, His full name is Petrick's Sir Axl Diablo DiMaggio. Axl is for Axl Rose from Gunz N Roses, Diablo is the car my son wants:rolleyes: and DiMaggio is keeping with the Yankee's name:) I had every intentions on calling him DiMaggio, but every visit with his breeder showed that this lil "bad boy' needed to be called Axl, it fitted him much better. Yumi Yasha name is Japanese. My husband did not want the girls having Yankee names:thumbdown. They ( he and the 4 boy's) wanted Japanese names and I agreed to it only if Princess was part of the name;) So we came up with Petrick's Imperial Princess Yumi Yasha. We call her Yumi Yasha. Her name means Beautiful ( Yumi) forest spirit/or female demon (Yasha) |
My little man's name is Odie. We named him that because he is so tiny that we thought that he would be kicked off the furniture just like in Garfield/Odie..lol |
I used to have a poodle named Chloe and one of my friends always called her "otis". I loved it! I almost named him tucker, but he definatley is an Otis. Oliver was just to go along nicely with Otis, he was almost Oswald! |
I never understood why, because my dog is just the right weight, but my daughter named him Gus after the fat mouse in Cinderella. I do think it suits him, though, because Yorkie faces always made me think of old men with big mustaches and beards, and Gus is kind of an old man name. |

My fur babies name is Sophie. I always said that when I got a little girl Yorkie I would name her Sophie and because it sounded cute with Toby my parents Yorkie that convinced me that I HAD to HAVE a Yorkie! |
We have LuLu, we made the decision to get another dog on the night we ate at a restaurant at the beach...LuLu's. My daughter was determined that would be her name, so we really had no other choice :) It fits her perfectly, we usually call her "Crazy LuLu". We also have a Golden Retrieve, Heidi, named for the Shirley Temple movie...my daughter's and grandmother's favorite. |
I have 3 Yorkie's My 4 yr. old is Sir Arthur, but I call him Artie pronounced w/a Boston accent Ottie, sice I was living in Boston when I got him. The name came from his Breeder, he was advertised on the Internet. I usually call him Boy Boy. Princess Abigail was named after a Teddy Bear I got from Hawaii, that was the sweetest thing a friend gave me. I call her Mama or Mamacita. Princess Tiffany Aloha, was named by my BF and I added the Princess and the Aloha b/c I'm from Hawaii, but I call her Pom Pom b/c she looks like one or Little Girl since she is their daughter. |
I knew I would name my little yorkie Paisley before I even found her. I love the country singer Brad Paisley and thought it would be a perfect name for my new little girl! |
My girls names are Toot Toot Tootsie- Tootsie for short , and Samantha::aimeeyork:animal-pa:animal-pa. Love my Babies!!!!! |
