does anyone elso have a pure yorkie that has a bit of curly hair. My 5 year old yorkie's hair get kind curly towards his butt. What should I do to keep it straighter?

When Wrigley was longer her hair was straight, but since we have cut her shorter, it has more curl/wave in it! She now matches her sister who is a Yorkie-Poo!

My Sammy has some curl in his hair too. He has a beautiful coat and I like his little curls... it gives him a "rugged" boy look.

princess has very curly hair... what i do if i want to make it more straight is to put full length pajamas on her after she baths and take it off the next day and its more straight

i attached a pic of her where you can see how curly she gets!

pepper's hair curls toward her butt, and it is curly on the top of her head if i let it air dry. I love it that way.

My LuLu is 5 yrs old and has very thick hair and very long (touches the ground). No matter what I have tried to do towards her back leg and but is very wavy. When I blow dry her it hangs straight, but once she lays down it gets wavy again.

Layla is ALL curls. Nothing you can do about it.. it just is

I LOVE them. especially when she gets wet... there are curls everywhere !!

My oldest boys hair is wavy on his rear and my middle one's hair is curly on top of his head. I have seen breeders straighten their dogs coat with a straigtening iron at shows. Too much trouble for just a pet....I have a hard enough time getting them to stand still to put their hair in a top knot...can't imagine trying to use a straighting iron....

Chico's hair is the exact same way, curly on his bottom and top of his head. His face and the rest of him has straight hair though. How funny, I was starting to think he was part yorkiepoo!
