| ![]() You can think you have a very healthy pup because most genetic problems show up at two years old and after. Liver Shunt before 6 mos as a rule but can be later.

| ![]() Inbreeding is breeding father to daughter, mother to son or half-brother to half-sister. Line breeding is breeding more distantly related dogs like grandparent, cousin, etc. In line breeding some of the relatives may also be several generations back. Breeding any dogs can be risky and end with poor results so it is always best to do a lot of research and seek guidance from someone experienced before attempting to breed dogs. There are many health issues showing up in the yorkie breed due to reckless breeding. |

He's basically a rescue dog and we're prepared for whatever comes our way, I agree it's reckless but I had nothing to do with the breeding and just want to give a little boy a loving home that more then likely wouldn't have one.

Ooh don't worry about that I have always spayed and neutered my pets, I firmley believe in that as a pet owner. I like it so much I'm thinking of sending my husband in to the family vet.... ok joking about the husband part... lol.

they are the ones who do not care. they are the ones shipping sick dogs all over the country. plus all the dogs imported.. they must have gotten into the gene pool. hopefully, there are some healthy lines left. good reason to spay/neuter most dogs. ![]()
