| He isn't eating much... I have read that yorkies don't eat much and can go a whole day without eating. Since Tobi has been home (2 weeks) he will eat here and there, but his appetite isn't increasing as much as I would like. I know he is a yorkie and not a lab... but again I am not sure when I should start worrying. Thanks guys! Andrea |

| I got Canyon at 12 weeks and I thought he should be eating alot more than he did. I talked to my breeder and she said their tummys are so small that they will eat a little here and there. If he didn't eat his kibble out of his bowl, I put a little bit on the floor and he'd eat that. The best way to tell if they are eating enough, weigh them. If your pup has gained in ounces since coming home, I'd say they are doing good. But do keep an eye on them to make sure they are eating every day. You can also supplement with Nutri-Cal just a little in the morning and evening, that's what I did with Canyon. |

| I started Lucie with a handful of food a few times a day. She actually ate more for me than she did for the breeder. Sometimes they get easily distracted and want to play. Now she eats about 1/2 cup (maybe a little less) a day. You need to make sure that they don't get hypoglycemic because it can happen easily if they aren't eating enough.

| Chewy is a lil over 7 lbs and she eats btwn 1/4 and 1/2 cup everyday. This is less than what is recommended for her but my vet said it is enough for her if she isnt eating more. There is always food out but she has always been a muncher. She feels very healthy... not skinny at all and on days when I dont think she's eaten enough I give her some Nutrical... Im not into big meals either so I dont blame her... lol |
