| "doll face" what is it? What is a doll face? When I was looking to buy a yorkie, I notice those words being used often. I dont know what that means. My trixie was adverticed in a simple way. The breader just posted "female yorkie". According to the growth chart, she will be very small, but I know I would had paid more if it was called a "tcup". It's doll face a made up word like tcup? and even if it is, what does that mean? sorry if I sound ignorant |

| I think it is a marketing term that describes a face with a shorter nose.

| i agree.. they are also referred to as a "teddy bear face" just a shorter nose.. some yorkies have what they call "fox-like features" you should NOT have to pay more for either of those terms... as you also know you shouldn't have to pay more for a "teacup" |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Since these are marketing terms, there is no definitive description. Members of the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America forbid the use of these words. Different people have put different meanings on their use; some people think an 8-pound yorkie is a "teacup." Baby doll face "usually" means refined features with tiny nose, and teddy bear has more a bear type of snout with a cotton coat, which is an excellent way to market this very hard to care for coat. If a breeder uses these terms find a different breeder.
