| Re: Barking Hi Everyone I live on a corner and every time I let Calleigh outside she barks at everyone going by and runs up and down the fence barking, and chasing the people, children, etc. walking by. Does anyone have any advice on how to curb this annoying trait. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. LindaBedilia |

| Mine does that too .... and it took us a while to get her to stop ..... I tell her in a firm voice .... "No Barking" and if she listened she gets a treat ..... it worked with us .... you might want to give it a try ....

| i just keep mine on a leash. he is allowed 3 barks, or 3 seconds of barking (his alarm bark is numerous barks, really fast) then i say enough. he stops, if he tries again i give him a correction, look at what he is barking at, and just say i know boy, thanks for telling me. and it works 99.9% of the time. sometimes though, he just doesnt like someone or something, and wont stop till said something is gone. |
