Im one of those people that always reads the pet for sale adds I have noticed a big jump in yorkies, maltese, and shihtzu being sold no papers so I started calling and asking why its the same excuse we didnt register them or we are selling with no papers or parents had papers but we did not register them this is going to become an epidemic I think good breeders are selling limited reg. and people are still breeding them anyway in las vegas anyone else notice.

Well I am in Vegas too. Taz has no papers because my SIL never bothered to register the parents. They have had 4 litters now. She doesn't sell them though, they usually go to family or friends. I bought Gabby off of craigslist for $300 and she had CKC papers. I think you are right though, people get limited registrations and breed anyways. People want yorkies no matter what!
