I need to rant about this for a minute. YouTube - robbiehar's Channel If the owner of this Youtube account is a member of this site, then the mods are just going to have to delete my post, but her videos make me gag. Every one of them talks about her SMALL CHOCOLATE RED Yorkshire Terrier. Yet another person who just wants a designer dog to look cute for everyone else rather than giving a damn about the breed. And it's the same videos over and over again. Look how cute my TINY, CHOCOLATE RED Yorkie is! Look how CHOCOLATE and RED and TINY Tinkerbell is. I have to make her clothes because she's SO SMALL. TE HE HEE. Why can't people just be happy with the way the breed is. And I know she intentionally bred her this way, because she accidentally got a shot of the mother who is also a chocolate yorkie. But she claims in her comments that she breeds responsibly. I've never seen anyone brag so much. It just really makes me sick. I hope this doesn't offend anyone on here, but this woman needs to go... away. |
How did you find this particluar video? |
I was searching for a friend's yorkie video and it was like the second link when I entered the search on Youtube. Don't get me wrong, the dog is adorable.. but it's like she's exploiting the poor things. |
What was it about that video that drew you to click on it, sit and wait for it to load and then, watch it? I'm only asking because you are so angry about her breeding practices and she certainly wasn't hiding it (her title even says, "SMALL Yorkie Puppies Chocolate Yorkshire Terrier Puppy"). You even started another thread recently where you were angry about the thing..... |
Well, I just saw it and thought the dog was cute a first. But then every single one of her videos just outright brags about how tiny it is. Not about how nice its personality is, or how much she enjoys it as a pet. it sounds like she's advertising her own doggie. And I'm so upset because I'm getting so sick of this designer dog crap, and she's not helping make it any better with her videos. |
all i seen was digging ditches |

People have ranting threads all the time here, she stated that in the thread title. She shouldn't have to defend "how" she found it. What about all the people who post "teacup" websites? This is a legitimate concern for many of us. I'd rant with you, but I can't get the video to play. |
I realize that you have your own opinions, but maybe you should reconsider some of your words. There are members here that own chocolate colored Yorkies and I am pretty sure they would not consider their fur baby, "designer crap". :thumbdown  |

I never called chocolate yorkies "designer crap". I said I'm sick of the designer crap. If a chocolate yorkie happens to end up in the litter, and you want it, fine. But she's advertising it to everyone in the world like it's the breed standard. My grandmother has a dog with a pigment defect as well, but she didn't go out an specifically look for the thing, it just happened to be one of two in the litter that just by chance happened to be that color. What this woman is doing is false advertising. That would be like me selling you an albino cat and telling you it's worth lots of money because you don't know any better. Now, I DON'T KNOW IF SHE'S SELLING THE PUPPIES SHE HAS. Let's make that very clear before I start getting flamed, but by the looks of if, she probably has in the past, and if she hasn't, she probably wouldn't have a problem passing these off as "rare" colors to make a profit. THAT'S what this post is about. I'm not attacking anyone's dog. The dogs aren't responsible for what thier owners say and do. |
Ok, I got it to play, it bothers me, because I think they play up the size factor too much. "She's smallest chocolate yorkie in the world, maybe the smallest yorkie." Since she just a regular person and not a breeder, it doesn't bother me too much, but I do see a trend with people wanting smaller and smaller Yorkies, and size seems to be the only important factor. One women wrote in and wanted an under 3 pound Yorkie, and didn't care if it had liver shunt, just as long as it was small. :( |

I've had another member on here email me the link to this lady's videos. She was also very annoyed by her. I know this person seems like she's really bragging but maybe she doesn't mean to come off that way. I think sometimes a person can just love their baby so much that it can come off wrong. I guess I think along these lines because I post pictures all the time. I'm sure some might think I'm trying to show off my babies but it has nothing to do with that. I simply adore my babies and want to share them with everyone. I hope I made sense. |
That's just awful. I had the exact opposite problem. I wanted something around 5-6lbs, but nobody wanted my little guy because he was the skinniest and had a problem at birth. He's estimated to stop growing at about 3lbs 6oz, which isn't bad, but he's small when you put him next to his brothers and sisters, so I took him because he gave me the saddest look and we just bonded. People should buy the dog for the breed, how happy the dog makes them, how happy they make the dog. They are companions and friends, not fashion accessories. and, tammy, if I may call you tammy, if you are offended because you have a parti yorkie, don't be, there's nothing wrong with off-breed standard colored yorkies, but people that intentionally breed them over and over to make a profit are mean. plain and simple, and I'm sorry if you think I'm a jerk, but i don't believe in pulling the wool over someone's eyes the way some breeders do. |
Wow, I DO sound like a jerk, haha. It's my nature. Sorry everyone. I'm just so annoyed right now. I mean, sure I would post hundreds of videos and pictures of my baby if I had the patience, but it's the SMALL and CHOCOLATE reiterated over and over, in all caps that's bothering me. it's like she's shoving it down my throat. AAH. |

Oh no :( I'm sorry about your camera. You know they have something (trying to think of name) where you put your memory card in it and then use this thing to load pictures to your computer. This might work for you. I'm going to try and find out the name for you. It's a cheap little thing to buy and then you can post me some pictures, lol!! :D |

:p just last night I was thinking to myself where the heck that term ever came from...Like Gucci is in the dog breeding business now or something and you can pick up dogs with designer labels stamped on their rear end. haha sorry I have been awake for far too long now. |
Small yorkie, are they considered designer when its off in color? I thought designer meant mixing different breeds. BTW the mom looked big compared to the baby, so she might be in awe over the size. Also the good side of this is, if she is a breeder she did the right thing by keeping her. She didn't push her off on to someone else. |

Plus it doesn't help the breed at all - it just makes others who don't know how fragile they can be to want one... which in turn prompts breeders to go smaller and smaller. If someone really REALLY wants a tiny under 2 lb doggie - I wish they'd buy a hampster instead. To clarify my last statement - I'M KIDDING ...(mostly) |
You are right. I think people should leave breeding to the people who will keep the yorkie line true, the size, color, body shape. I know my Ivy has a tail, and her color is too light and she may be a little bigger then she should be, but I love her and I don't care, but I can't belive they made her have babies ( she never should have) so it goes back to the same thing no one should buy from pet stores:thumbdown and the breeding should be done by the people who know what they are doing. |
Even her voice erks me - after seeing this video and catching her in AN OUT RIGHT LIE: She said she made this outfit - MY GIRL HAS THE EXACT SAME SHIRT - FROM WAL-MART MADE BY 'Simply Good' for 6.99! Now - I dont believe a word she says. A lie is a lie. Im left feeling sorry for her and any dogs she may breed for she isnt very intelligent and if I had to lay money down... I'd say pillhead! :D Many of those down here and thats symbolic of how they act: sound stupid without realizing it AND/OR lying about minute things when there is so reason to lie. They just do it. :thumbdown I do hope 'Tinkerbell' was NEVER made to carry a litter but unfortunately - we know she has - probably several. Sad stuff here. Im a bit angry over it myself. |
i watched that video and didn't see where she said she made it. this is her info about the video "Tinker Bell in new outfit, she is about ONE Pound, and though I can buy SOME clothes that will fit, MOST are home made by ME. This outfit was store bought!! So Cute!!" she clearly states its store bought. as i watched her videos i just thought she was just very in love with her yorkie. sure she is a little obnoxious but she clearly loves her yorkies. lots of people breed for chocolates and parties so why single her out? i'd be more worried about puppy mills and breeders that are only in it for money who don't love their dogs. |
I am getting sick of her flauting that they're so small...but I think they're really adorable. :p The video of the pups in the box is precious. There are people (breeders, even) on here who do have chocolate and golden yorkies. It's from a certain kind of gene that is probably traced back to the original "forumla" of dog breeds that made the yorkie. I think it's really interesting when one turns out to be red or golden or chocolate, so I love looking at videos/pictures of them. But I can't stand it when people brag and use them as accessories. I've only seen like 3 of her videos. Yeah, it's a little annoying how she talks about her size a lot, but I think she's just really devoted to Tinker Bell. I don't really think she means any harm by it. |
Nope - NOT hearing her say store bought - AT ALL - anywhere. And she claims to only be able to make clothes small enough. She didnt SAY she made this but has said no other clothes fit so she has to MAKE ALL OF THEM. But NO - nowhere in the video I posted does she say 'STORE BOUGHT'. Though she says many - many times... ALL of her clothes have to be made by her - nothing 'store bought' will fit. That she does say. Over and over. ;) |
Interesting that she says her Yorkie is the worlds smallest.... Hummmmm, I'd question that . Yes, the dog is very cute, but, is not the standard in color. However, my Suzi is a 1/2 lb bigger then the standard. And still growing. The woman in the video did say she has to watch her Yorkie all the time, because of it's size. I know you can buy clothes xxx sm . people dress their Chi. All the time. I am surprised she has not found YT yet. :aimeeyork |

I'm going to try to give her the benefit of the doubt. I hate it when people judge my dog or my love of my dog...so I'm going to try not to do it to other people. |
