Thank you! In all fairness - we really shouldnt be talking about her unless we contact her and let her know such a debate over her and Tinkerbell is taking place. So I wont be addressing the situation or her anymore until she has a chance to defend herself. (shouldnt have to begin with - cheesy but I must be bored) I could understand if there was no way to contact her - but there is - so we shouldnt be speaking behind her back - giving her no chance to defend herself. Not cool! :thumbdown As there are ways of saying this to her face rather than to her back as is here. I know I would want to be made aware and have a chance to defend myself in such a situation. She should at least have the choice. Though defending myself against a group on the internet wouldnt be anything I would feel the need to do - she may feel differently. So - Ill keep her off my tongue unless she becomes aware and wishes to discuss with us. :animal36 |
You know I agree with you (The original poster), she needs to shut up about how small the dog is and "monitor" her more. She seems like a "teacup" follower, as far as I know teacups aren't that healthy. I could be wrong but 1 pound 4 ounces is not something you should be proud of. |
Wow! I'm glad so many of you actually agree with me. I've never seen anyone that had to get their point across so badly that they made that many videos about it. I love my yorkie too, and he's pretty small, but I don't tell everyone I see "This is RINGO. He is a YEAR OLD and he only weighs THREE POUNDS. BLAH BLAH BLAH." I think people should stay true to the line. And it seems like yorkies are the most exploited and misbred breed out there. I never hear about people doing this with any other kind of dog. I'm sure chihuahuas have the same problem, but they come in so many different colors, that coat isn't an issue. I know that people probably breed them way too small as well, and pit bulls have the same problem, but it seems like yorkies get the worst treatment when it comes to size and color. Does anyone else feel like yorkies are getting picked on? |
I don't know about them being picked on - but many people are truly obsessive about size. (like the video girl) With most other breeds - puppies are usually chosen by their health and temperment rather than by weight ... you never hear anyone saying "I want that 7.8 pound Lab puppy"!:p:p |
Oh, yeah. Seriously. My mother has three chihuahuas. One only weighs 2lbs even. She was the runt of the litter and the owner didn't want her because she said she looks like a rat. One is 5lbs and he was a rescue from a woman that died, and the last one weighs 25lbs! Nobody wanted her either because she wasn't "teacup". She's not big, she's just a fatty. She always has been. I just don't understand why the entire basis of buying a dog should be size. It's rediculous. |
It somehow became the new "trend" to have a little dog, and now it's like a battle to see who can get the smallest one. So sad that dogs became like a fashion accesory. I swear it's like the new expensive item to have. |
she says her yorkie is 1 pound 4 ounces... I kinda dont believe that.. Bam Bam is that weight right now and he looks WAY smaller than those videos of her little girl.. also, it annoys me that she says nothing fits the dog because ive found clothes small enough to fit bam bam at 17 ounces... grr she does sound like she is bragging, and she says the same thing in every video and the videos are all named practically the same thing!! I understand loving your baby but what i find most annoying is her voice and the repetitiveness of the videos |
