| ![]() The first Yorkie I ever had "Moppett" had floppy ears. I tried taping and supporting them, but nothing worked. I then had to accept that she would forever have floppy ears. It made no difference, she was cuddly, loveable, adorable and all the other positive traits that Yorkies have. I knew she was destined for petdom - not showdom - but that was fine with me. ![]() |

| ![]() Buffalo is 5 months old and his ears are semi-floppy i would say, one stands up more than the other. Check for yourself. This was something i was wondering about too, im glad you posted this question! ![]()

It's a Yorkie Thing Donating Member | ![]() My first yorkie, Duke, had floppy ears until he was 9 months old. Then I was showed how to trim them. They POPPED right up. But I wasn't sure I liked them standing up. Now I find if I don't trim my yorkies ears they will lay down. So you can decide how you like them. Mostly I keep mine trimmed since it's standard.

| ![]() COUNT ME IN! My little Gracie Girl is a floppy ear girl. I am out-voted at home as my DH and my son LOVE her floppy ears. I have taped them couple of times but then keep going back floppy. The good Lord made her unique and I love her so much! Honestly, the floppy ears add to her personality. ![]()

| ![]() I have three and two of them have floppy ears, with Chewy, my first, I did'nt know much of anything and left them how they were, with my second one Choupette, I had learned little more but it was too late for her, she was ten months, so floppy ears as well but when I got Tucson, I had learned how to tape them and his ears are up, but my other two are just as sweet looking and I find it adds character to them. So I feel I have the best of both.
