Pepper is afraid of the vacuum while it is running. But not when it is just sitting there. Even managed to scrape up enough courage to chew the cord one day.

He is also afraid of thunder if we are outside on the porch, but not if we are in the house.

Ahhhh. Thanks for all the replies. This is a fun thread. Some of this makes sense, like the smoke and loud noises. Very odd about little Shyasha afraid to go out in the daylight. I wonder if her eyes are really sensitive to light? Anyway, it's fun to hear all the silly things our Yorkies are afraid of.

Kaylah is afraid of plastic bags. Watching her trying to attack the bags is hilarious...my mom used to chase her with bags playing, so I think that's where the fear came from. She hates the noise they make and runs every time I come home from shopping.

She's also afraid of fireworks...she hates the loud noise.

They are afraid of the broom when i sweep, i think London is afraid of babies lol We put her near my niece and she tried to run away, i don't think she's seen anyone that small before. Sophie is scared of a lot of things, she's been like that since day 1. Teddy is scared of farting noises, when my bf makes them with his mouth..and a few other things but i cant quite remember right now.

Lexilyn's afraid of the windshield wipers in the truck. We drive as long as we can in the rain before we're forced to turn them on. She puts her head down and hides her face. Don't know why. With everything else, she's the worlds largest dog!

My poor Cinnamon is afraid of the vacuuum, thunder and rain - she shakes and pants...but Lily? She's a toughy - not afraid of anything! hahahaah

Sassy's fears:

Plastic and paper bags
Vacuum Cleaner
Broom
Mop
Fly Swatter
Fire works and all other Loud noises

She has never heard thunder.

I love storms. We rarely have them here.

She is not fearful of the blowdryer or the Wahl and she LOVES a bath and being brushed!

Phoebe is not afraid of anything. She is 3lbs of pure craziness. She has no idea how small she is.

Zeus is scared of his own reflection. He barks and barks like crazy.

I haven't found anything that they are afraid of. Daisy will look a little nervous when she first hears a new sound but once she sees that it is OK she isn't afraid of it anymore.

Sebastian is afraid of the mailbox. It is soooo strange!!! When I carry him out to get the mail, he tries to climb up my shoulder to get away from the mailbox. I have no idea why it scares him- he is absolutely terrified. He is not afraid of the hair dryer or the vacuum, just the mailbox! I guess my mailman is safe!!!
