| Getting a yorkie puppy! Hi, I have recently decided to get a yorkie puppy after doing some research..and really loving this adorable little thing. After reading all the stuff about pet stores/puppy mills, I am trying to either find a yorkie by adoption or through a breeder. The problem with adoption is that most of them are already adults..and I want a puppy even though they require more care and attention. Anyway, I was wondering if you guys know of reputable breeders in the Southern California area?? I can't wait to get my yorkie!!! |

| Welcome to YT!! Wow your first post....nice to have you here and so excited that you will be getting a new yorkie pup. Get ready to have your heart stolen from you and for your new pup to be the love of your life. I don't know any So. Cal. breeders, I just got my 2nd pup from out of state. My friend Sara got her pup in So. Cal. though and she will be back in town soon to check on YT updates and she will give you her breeder's info. Good Luck and So proud of you for doing your research!! Good job!

| Hi and welcome! I'm on the wrong side of the country to be any help, but I'm sure you'll get great advice from other members. Report back with pictures of your new baby once you have him/her! |

Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | welcome to YT...glad you decided on getting a Yorkie...hehe...you couldn't have made a better choice...i did tons of research prior to getting my first one...now look at me, i have 4...lol... have you looked in our for sale section....i know Sugar momma has some girls for sale...she isn't located in CA but is willing to ship I think...you can't go wrong with purchasing a baby from one of YT members...hehe...and that way we can watch the puppy grow.. Or if you are thinking about rescuing have you looked on petfinder.com...they seem to have puppies at times...just another suggestion...
